We're in the building for KOTD's first event at The Bunker.

Today we're in L.A. for KOTD's "Back To Basics 4." As KOTD's inaugural event at The Bunker (the first ever venue designed specifically for battle rap), the card is small but shows promise. If you want to watch live, there's a pay-per-view hosted by Dirtbag Dan and BattleRap.com editor-in-chief Chris Mitchell that you can buy here. It's set to go live around 1:00 p.m. California time.

Unfortunately, E. Farrell had to cancel due to illness, but there's still:

  • The Saurus vs. Daylyt
  • Caustic vs. T-Rex
  • Carter Deems vs. Head I.C.E
  • Pnut vs. J Dose

Pnut vs. J Dose























Despite a slip from PNut in Round 1 after J Dose cut him off early, this was a very solid battle to start off with. It was a strong KOTD debut for Dose and plenty gave him the battle, but I edged PNut 2-1, second and third.

Carter Deems vs. Head I.C.E

























As astute fans knew it would be, this was a hugely entertaining, debatable back-and-forth. Some noise from what seemed to be power tools threw I.C.E off in the second round (and spawned a great rebuttal from Carter), but it was more than understandable. I gave I.C.E Round 1, Carter Round 2, and the third comes down to preference. Either way, you can't go wrong.
