Many of Pennsylvania's battle rap heavyweights are coming together for one card.
Krack Liberty Battle League has announced its next event, "Raise The Steaks," is going down May 22 in Philadelphia, Pa. (That's "steaks" like Philly cheesesteaks, not an error). The event has potential for some great battles thanks to the strong mix of local legends, veterans and worthy up-and-comers.
The full card is as follows:
- Shotgun Suge vs. E. Ness
- Reed Dollaz vs. Rosenberg Raw
- Bill Collector vs. Cyssero
- DNA & K-Shine vs. Frankie Wapps & Jaze Juce
- Complex vs. Tycoon Tax
- Young Robbles vs. Dubb Da Feenom
- Robyn Bankz vs. Viixen Tha Assassin
- DNA vs. Philly Swain (One rounder)
- K-Shine vs. Kaboom (One rounder)
The co-headliners of the card are two Philly legends who have made successful comebacks recently. E. Ness was praised for his performance against Bill Collector at last year's Don't Flop Philly event, and Reed Dollaz was strong in his "Born Legacy 2" battle against Chess. Ness is taking on Shotgun Suge, who has also seen his stock skyrocket over the last year, while Reed faces another Pennsylvania native, Rosenberg Raw.
This is the first time in years the Philly crowd gets to see their local legends put on at home. Reed, Cyssero and Philly Swain haven't had on-camera battles in the city since the early days of the scene.
Also highlighting the event are performances from Bill Collector, Kaboom, DNA and K-Shine, with the last two names battling twice — once as individuals in one-rounders and once as a team against returning WRC/Grind Time 2-on-2 vets Frankie Wapps and Jaze Juce.
The event will be hosted by KOTD champion/Philly representative Rone, and KLBL founder Z.M.
