U Dubb's "Revolution" is going down in Brooklyn today (Feb. 28) with some big match-ups as well as some lesser-known names getting huge shots against top-tier names.
BattleRap.com will be in the building, so follow our updates on Twitter and Instagram.
The card features eight three-round battles and two one-rounders as well. The main event features an interesting 2-on-2 with NWX members DNA & K-Shine taking on Newark natives Arsonal & Shotgun Suge. New York battle veterans Head I.C.E and Math Hoffa will also face off in a co-main event after going back-and-forth through blogs and diss tracks last year.
The card also has a showdown between the recently hot Cortez and Jai, who put on a great performance against Showoff in his last battle.
In what will perhaps be the most animated battle on the card, Bill Collector will take on Kasher, a U Dubb up-and-comer who is known for his wildly enthusiastic and energetic performance against J Cobe.
The rest of the event will focus on established battle rappers taking on relative newcomers and U Dubb talent.
The full card is as follows:
- DNA & K Shine vs. Arsonal & Shotgun Suge
- Math Hoffa vs. Head I.C.E
- Cortez vs. Jai
- Charlie Clips vs. Awthentic
- Big T vs. Rad B
